HELPDESKSTAR update. Version 2.9.

We present the new update of the ticket system. We have taken your suggestions into account and present the following innovations:

I. WORKING WITH MESSAGES
  • Opening external links occurs in a new tab
II. WORKING WITH FILES
  • The loader has been changed (file loading process)

  • Preview and conversion to PDF of attached files in messages has been added

  • Support for viewing PDF files has been added for Knowledge Base and Comments.

III. SERVICE INFORMATION
  • For ticket system administrators, hovering over the avatar displays service information

IV. QUICK TICKET CLOSURE
  • For employees, a "Close Ticket" button has been added — this changes the status to the appropriate value.

V. CUSTOMER CARD
  • An informational text field "Notes" has been added to the customer card

VI. CLIENT ACCESS TO FIELDS
  • Added the ability to configure client access to the "Type" field

VII. OTHER
  • All system clients have been migrated from Pusher to an internal WebSocket server — there are no longer limitations on the number of system notifications (Pusher limit was 200,000), as well as on the number of simultaneous connections (Pusher limit was 100)
  • Ticket merging has been added to logging

FIXED THE FOLLOWING ERRORS:
  • Fixed the error of exceeding the internal name size
  • Fixed translations
  • Fixed icons of uploaded files
  • Sorted the list of employees
